INTRODUCTION TO COMIC BOOK INKING

Join Jonathan Glapion (Green LanternSpike TV Scream Award Winner, Batman and Robin, Final Crisis: RevelationsNYT Best-Seller) for an intensive six weeks course and project designed to teach all the skills and tricks of the trade for you to learn not just how to put ink on a page, but more importantly, the thought process that goes behind it.
In just six weeks, youll learn about the tools of the trade, the technology involved in todays inking, techniques to put ink on the page, how to approach the pencil work, and how to communicate effectively with your penciler, colorist, and editor.
In addition to Jonathans wealth of experience on the craft and art of inking, youll also get his insight into the comics industry as a whole and tips and strategies on how to get noticed as an inker!
The first night of class is Wednesday, October 13th!
Meets once a week between 9:00 and 11:00 pm EST, for six weeks.
You will ink a 5-page comic book story!
You will Learn various approaches to inking a page.
You will learn about different kinds of ink, brushes, and more.
